HubSpot Review
CRM Platform · Automation & Growth
CRM, marketing automation and attribution in one — with Breeze AI layered across it.
Our take
The free CRM tier is genuinely usable and the best entry point in this category. Be aware that costs escalate sharply once you start adding hubs and seats.

What HubSpot does
HubSpot is the default CRM for growing B2B teams, and its Breeze AI now runs through the whole platform: agents that research and qualify prospects, predictive lead scoring, content assistance, and conversational analytics that answer pipeline questions in plain English.
How marketers actually use it
Start on the free CRM and let it record every contact, email and deal. Once there is real history in it, Breeze can score leads against your own closed-won data rather than a generic model — which is the point at which AI lead scoring stops being theatre.
Best for
- B2B teams needing CRM and marketing in one system
- AI lead scoring against your own historical data
- Closed-loop attribution from first touch to deal
- Asking plain-language questions about your pipeline
Watch out for
Pricing escalates sharply as you add hubs and seats, and migrating away later is painful. Commit deliberately.

Is HubSpot free?
The core CRM is genuinely free and usable, including some AI features. Costs escalate sharply as you add Marketing, Sales or Service Hubs and seats.
What is HubSpot Breeze?
HubSpot’s AI layer across the platform — prospecting agents, predictive lead scoring, content assistance and conversational analytics that answer pipeline questions in plain English.
Is HubSpot worth it for a small business?
The free CRM, almost always. The paid hubs only once you have the process and volume to use them — otherwise you are paying for capability you will not touch.
Is the free HubSpot CRM genuinely usable?
Yes — unlimited contacts, deal pipelines, email tracking and forms. It is one of the better free products in marketing software.
Why does HubSpot get expensive?
Costs scale with hubs, seats and contact tiers simultaneously, and features you rely on often sit one tier up. Model the two-year cost before committing.
